- 1 lb. Extra Sweet Hushpuppy Mix
- 8 oz. smoked pork, shredded
- 4 Tbsp jalapeno, chopped
- 2 Tbsp hot sauce
- 6 oz. water
Step OneStir hushpuppy mix, water, and hot sauce together.
Step TwoFold in barbecue and jalapeno. Let sit for 20-30 minutes.
Step ThreeShape batter in small balls, about 1 tablespoon each.
Step FourDeep fry at 350F for 1 ½ - 2 minutes.
