Hushpuppy with a hint of southern BBQ.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Extra Sweet Hushpuppy Mix
- 8 oz. smoked pork, shredded
- 4 Tbsp jalapeno, chopped
- 2 Tbsp hot sauce
- 6 oz. water
Directions

Step One
Stir hushpuppy mix, water, and hot sauce together. -
Step Two
Fold in barbecue and jalapeno. Let sit for 20-30 minutes. -
Step Three
Shape batter in small balls, about 1 tablespoon each. -
Step Four
Deep fry at 350F for 1 ½ - 2 minutes.
