Tangy and spicy Deep-Fried Pickles get their heat from House-Autry Medium-Hot Seasoned Breading Mix.

Original Recipe
- 1 1/2 cups House-Autry Medium-Hot Seasoned Breading Mix
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 cup water
- 1 32-ounce jar whole dill pickles, drained
- Oil for frying

- 18 cups House-Autry Medium-Hot Seasoned Breading Mix (I would just say 5lb of breader since this is for the whole bag of mix)
- 24 large egg yolks
- 12 cup water
- 12 - 32-ounce jar whole dill pickles, drained
- Oil for Frying

Step One
In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks and water together. -
Step Two
Slowly beat in the House-Autry Medium-Hot Seasoned Breading Mix to make a smooth batter.
(Adjust the amount of water to your liking - if you prefer a thinner, crispier batter, use more water) -
Step Three
Trim the ends off the pickles and slice to 1/4-inch rounds; dry well or use pre-cut pickle chips -
Step Four
Heat at least 2 inches of oil in a large saucepan or deep fryer until it reaches 365°F. -
Step Five
Dip pickle chips into batter; shake off excess. -
Step Six
Lightly fry for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, or until pickles are crispy on the outside and golden in color. -
Step Seven
Drain on paper towels and serve at once.
