- 1 cup House-Autry Medium White (Plain) Corn Meal
- 1 to 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Vegetable oil for frying
Step OneCombine corn meal, water and salt; stir to make a batter.
Step TwoPour 1/4-inch of oil into a 10-inch skillet and place over medium high heat.
Step ThreeWhen the oil is hot, drop in batter by the tablespoonful.
Step FourFry each side of patty until crispy and well browned, 3-5 minutes total.
Step FiveDrain on a paper towel and serve.
