Southern Cornbread Dressing

Sweet cornbread mix and hard-boiled eggs put a twist on traditional cornbread dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1 box House-Autry Sweet Yellow Cornbread Mix
  • 1 egg, hard boiled & diced
  • 2/3 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/8 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp sage
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 1/2 cup broth

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Crumble prepared cornbread in a bowl. Stir in next 5 ingredients to combine. Stir in broth and butter. Spread mixture in a 9 x 13 lightly greased baking pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until lightly browned and dressing is set in the middle.

*You can use House-Autry Buttermilk Cornbread Mix instead of House-Autry Sweet Yellow Cornbread Mix
