Onion Corn Dogs

State fair-worthy corndogs are easy to make with House-Autry Hushpuppy Mix with Onion, and are extra delicious served with honey mustard.
- 8 ounces Hushpuppy Mix with Onion
- 1 bottle honey mustard
- 8 hot dogs
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 16 skewers
Cut hot dogs in half and insert wooden skewers. Place two tablespoons House-Autry Hushpuppy Mix with Onions on a sheet of wax paper. Pour 8 ounces of water into a 2-cup measure. Add remaining dry mix to water; mix well. Let stand for 5 minutes. Dip hot dogs in remaining water; drain excess. Roll hot dogs in dry mix, then dip hot dogs in batter, turning in circular motion until well coated. Submerge hot dogs in enough oil to cover completely. Fry at 375°F for 2 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with honey mustard!
