Fish Cakes

Jalapeno pepper and our seafood seasoned breading mix give these fish cakes tons of zesty flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup House-Autry Seafood Seasoned Breading Mix
  • 12 oz white fish - cooked and flaked
  • 1 large baked potato
  • 3 scallions - diced
  • 1 medium jalapeno pepper - minced
  • 1/2 medium bell pepper - diced
  • 1/2 medium onion - diced
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 large egg - beaten
  • 1 lemon - juiced and zested
  • dash red pepper flakes salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Combine fish, potato, scallions, peppers, onion, mayonnaise and egg with 1/3 cup House-Autry Seafood Seasoned Breading Mix. Mix thoroughly. Stir in remaining ingredients; shape into 10 patties and coat with remaining breading mix. Cook in 1/8-inch hot oil for 6-7 minutes, turning halfway through cooking.
