Jalapeno pepper and our seafood seasoned breading mix give these fish cakes tons of zesty flavor.
- 2/3 cup House-Autry Seafood Seasoned Breading Mix
- 12 oz white fish - cooked and flaked
- 1 large baked potato
- 3 scallions - diced
- 1 medium jalapeno pepper - minced
- 1/2 medium bell pepper - diced
- 1/2 medium onion - diced
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 large egg - beaten
- 1 lemon - juiced and zested
- dash red pepper flakes salt and pepper to taste
Combine fish, potato, scallions, peppers, onion, mayonnaise and egg with 1/3 cup House-Autry Seafood Seasoned Breading Mix. Mix thoroughly. Stir in remaining ingredients; shape into 10 patties and coat with remaining breading mix. Cook in 1/8-inch hot oil for 6-7 minutes, turning halfway through cooking.
