Buffalo steak or beef sirloin can be used in these flavorful wraps, which are great for lunch, dinner or game-day snacks.
- 1 cup House-Autry Medium-Hot Seasoned Breading Mix
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp House-Autry Medium-Hot Seasoned Breading Mix
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 large Buffalo Steak, cut in strips (can substitute beef sirloin)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 2 cups cooking oil
- 3 slices American cheese
- 5 large tortillas
Sautè onion and pepper in 2 tablespoons breading mix in 2 tablespoons oil for 4 minutes. Drain and set aside. Combine the egg and buttermilk. Dip buffalo in egg mixture and roll in 1 cup House-Autry breading mix. Fry in 2 cups oil until golden brown. Place buffalo on cookie sheet and top with onions, pepper, and cheese. Bake until cheese is slightly melted. Layer buffalo, pepper, onions and cheese on half of tortilla and top with lettuce, tomato.
