Thought I might add that I have cast iron skillets, pans, pots and dutch ovens that are over 150 years old. They were in my and my wifes family, and used every day. I still use them and cooking some of your cornbread this morning in a small 8 inch skilllet. Nothing cooks as well. Take care of them and they will take care of you.
