Spicy Chicken in a Biscuit
This is a quick and easy breakfast on the run – everything cooks on one pan at the same time. Plus, that little kick of flavor will wake you up!
- 1 pkg Buttermilk Biscuit Mix 8 oz
- 1/2 Cup Southern Baked Bold & Zesty
- 1/2 Cup water or milk
- 2 boneless (about 3/4 pound total) chicken breasts, cut in half lengthwise
- Nonstick cooking spray
Preheat oven to 425°F. Prepare biscuit mix according to package directions. Drop dough in four equal portions onto half of a lightly greased baking sheet; set aside. Dredge breast pieces in Bold & Zesty until coated on both sides. Place dredged chicken on other half of the baking sheet; lightly spray chicken with nonstick cooking spray. Cook for 12-15 minutes, rotating pan halfway through cooking, and checking to make sure chicken is cooked through. Remove pan from oven; split biscuits in half, and sandwich chicken between halves.
